Savannah + Travis // DIY Farm Wedding in Locust Grove, GA

This wedding is important to me because it was one of the first ones I ever second shot at. I second shot with and I really learned so much, just in that one day! Mainly because she's an awesome teacher, but also because it's good to just get thrown into the crazy. It's the best way to learn, in my humble opinion.

Outdoor weddings are my absolute FAVORITE, and I will no doubt have one when my time comes. I just love the natural light and how relaxed it makes the while ceremony feel.

Savannah and Travis got married on their family farm, with the reception in a barn BUILT FOR THEIR WEDDING. Talk about an amazing wedding gift. Also, the universe was on their side, because It was a gorgeous afternoon and the most perfect weather, considering it was August in Georgia.

From getting ready in matching robes and drinking mimosas, to dancing on the open dance floor under the stars, this wedding was goals.

DIY decor covered the reception space: book inspired centerpieces, DIY flower arrangements, paper flower bouquets, and Woody and Belle cake toppers. It was very *them*, which is how a wedding should be.

Congrats to these two pretty people!
