Megan + Anna // Proposal in Centennial Park, Atlanta
The other weekend, I had the honor of photographing a day these two will remember forever. The proposal.
Megan came to me a month or two before and told me she wanted me to have the proposal in Centennial Park Atlanta while the trees were filled with color, because that's Anna's favorite time of year. She'd take Anna on a brunch date at a nearby restaurant, take a walk around Centennial Park, and propose right in front of the ferris wheel, then finish off the morning with a ride on the ferris wheel and a surprise party back at their house to celebrate! Things didn't exactly go as planned.
After months of planning and being sneaky and a little bit sketchy according to Anna, Megan finally proposed to Anna in the middle of Centennial Park on Saturday, October 17th. The trees weren't colorful because fall is a little bit delayed this year, the ferris wheel ride had to be done first because they finished brunch so early and ran out of distractions. THEN, at the exact time she planned on proposing there was some 5K festival going on! So there were SO many people. Her phone died literally right before, so she couldn't even text me to tell me she was gong to move locations. Funny how the world works :)
So, no, things didn't go exactly as planned. Who cares. In the middle of all of those people, Megan still oh so courageously got on one knee and proposed to the love of her life. It was still incredibly romantic, and lovely to witness. The craziness just means there's more memories.
And at the end of the day it doesn't matter, they still got to go home together, engaged, and know that now they get to start the rest of their lives together!
I'm so glad I was a part of this! Thank you so much, Megan and Anna. Congratulations again!! Yay for wedding planning!
